Here he finds a multitude of exciting ways to die, and help comes in the most unlikely shape imaginable.  Kupala's Tears - Jack meets his match when a mission to locate a powerful, benevolent being is opposed by a small Jaffa force under the command of his one-time partner, Nike.  The Hidden One - Jack crosses paths with Nike once more, as an accident strands both soldiers on a remote planet, under the control of an ancient Goa'uld long thought dead. The Black God - Nike contacts Jack to make a proposition: That they join forces to be avenged on their former captor, Czernobog.
